Fire sprinkle head failed, flooding the suite and causing irreparable damage. The home owner hired Fremar Construction to work with him and his insurance broker to determine the scope of restoration required to maintain the level of craftsmanship and custom finishes.
With Fred’s input and experience it was agreed that a 100% restoration was required to return the condo to is previous quality.
Working with their long-term interior designer Judy Latowski the decision was made to add to the project and undertake a more extensive renovation to finish the condo at a higher level.
Based on the drawings and specifications Fremar Construction prepared a budget and schedule to execute the project.
Fremar’s experience with high end construction was a key asset in this challenging restoration, for various reasons. The first being the insurance settlement, second was skillfully bringing to life the vision Judy created for the homeowner. The third and arguably the most important was guiding the homeowner through this unexpected renovation.
The open design concept, outdoor living space, and view of false creek all contribute the feeling of this condo.
Removing walls was key to enhancing the floor plan taking advantage of the view. The combination of open concept and natural light made it critical that all finishing details were at the highest standard.
This 2500 sq.ft condo has a perfect balance of entertaining and comfortable living. Fit and finish is where Fremar contributed extensively to this project ensuring the designers vision matched the homeowners expectations.
A sign of a successful project is the seamless execution of the designers concept. When done right Fremar becomes invisible and the homeowner can enjoy their living space for years to come.
